== 2019-07-23 == === Deadline for local bursary re-reimbursements === If you need a local re-imbursement in local currency (BRL), then follow the instructions in the announcement from last Saturday. The deadline for submitting these is at the end of Wednesday so that it allows us time to get some money for those reimbursements. Please don't wait until the last minute to submit your request. === Lightning Talks and Live Demos === It's that time of the year again - lightning talks are coming to DebConf 19! If you'd like to submit a lightning talk, please email islightningr...@debconf.org with your talk proposal. There are still some slots available in tomorrow's session (Tuesday, 17:00), and quite a few slots left in Saturday's session (13:30). If your subject takes a little longer than five minutes, then perhaps you'd like to submit a live demo. There are still slots available in the live demo session on Thursday at 16:00. Lightning talk slots are 5 minutes, and live demo slots are 10 minutes each. === Talk Slides === Speakers are welcome to mail their slides to cont...@debconf.org (please let us know which session they belong to) and the content team will put them up. We are working on a better solution for the future. === Caipirinha Workshop === We're planning to have a caipirinha workshop this evening (Tuesday), if you're interested, please register at: https://wiki.debian.org/DebConf/19/InformalEvents#Caipirinha_Workshop And note that you will have to pay a small amount to participate (because we need to buy the ingredients) === Day Trip === Day trip will be tomorrow. Make sure to include yourself in the wiki page (https://wiki.debian.org/DebConf/19/DayTrip). Be sure that all information is clear for you. If it's not, please talk with some local team to help you. === Juggling Workshop === A juggling workshop will be held today (Tuesday) at 16:00 (after the group photo) in the garden. No prior juggling experience is required but experienced jugglers are welcomed. Some tools will be provided by the organizer, however BYOD is also a good idea. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAEBCgAdFiEExyA8CpIGcL+U8AuxsB0acqyNyaEFAl03Co8ACgkQsB0acqyN yaFcew//b0Dt45zWgQnRm5OGYmdLElJmTa0fS/mj43hxBXgEqxMrtVfXujr2hV7Q tszicnjrWEG41kcOkx6iIdX+SMViB1g9R01WWVJt7uyha6IK26n07exYs1rcru8K rpm/ayWcG/6caYUGLU/9sH/cL6boSvV3EdKeC/tK/GzDerfxVNsKUHXXCTtWhuwU 6bj9E3MW5g8f3fU/kAZNxFTVGNEHYVDAQkpgb5xbtJJhg6bWGTSXV0KNMDOjmjnj WO1Pj4Ne19m8SmrnXt+nU0UMDgt6K2SwdX58dNaA/HHFNT/jmcXEzPPnby+LxZcU kNIQjxvMf4PKtFfQ/DykXn4P7zxlj3znMxjWS7X2OIsd/H/QF4/igwoauEcFa5EY AKTngVO1UgsfTRnmr9ssFJ8Ryy1JAosGE7u3l/sDEq+HN6nB7z9wzpaqaxEVKkrE LivGJxc2qBOa4gjeqUOGhhiYp+un+KCWTRcyXi6NDg55gDRj7oHrgRPkZ6VCfPOI omFAn10Qo7GVCkqI1DrV2/WAR/byzLLjKn/8pfh2qmnIumfWLpkkymzhaEDMHC29 JIc8x8KQUf/blg404m3MMXQUYpCMpMm/nSo0isGBGyKXuIOqEWRo4XM1oGeb/vLN rMV9zaRXdLzbZfkq/zYFkRSM+oL6SIH59TJesnC8MGIFycsUouA= =IDbj -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
