Should we worry about this film? :-) Every year we have internacional speakers at FISL, Latinoware and Campus Party and they get visa easily. I would like to comment this queston: "Which location do you consider more important for the future of Debian and why?" To me is impossible go to DebConf in Europe/USA because 1 Dollar is more than 3 Reais. So, the costs to go to Europe/USA are very high. I know this is the same to others residents in Brazil and Latin America in general. Problaby because of these costs, in 2014 FIFA World Cup we had an "invasion" by ours brothers/sisters from countries like Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Uruguai, Bolivia, Mexico, Costa Rica, etc. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2014/jun/27/latin-america-world-cup-brazil-argentina When DebConf took place in Mar Del Plata (Argentina) many brazilians went to there, as you can see below: http://softwarelivre.org/debianbrasil/imagens/debconf8-countries.png Best regards, -- Paulo Henrique de Lima Santana (phls) Curador de Software Livre da Campus Party Brasil 2017 (CPBR10) Membro da Comunidade Curitiba Livre Fone: +55 (41) 99198-1897 Site: http://www.phls.com.br GNU/Linux user: 228719 GPG ID: 0443C450 Apoie a campanha pela igualdade de gênero #HeForShe (#ElesPorElas) http://www.heforshe.org/pt _______________________________________________ Debconf-team mailing list [email protected] http://lists.debconf.org/mailman/listinfo/debconf-team
