The content team has been asking if they can accept remote speakers at
DebConf 26, given the distance the the venue for the majority of
Debian's contributors.
I raised this on IRC a week ago:
16:35 < tumbleweed> gwolf is asking if we can support some more remote talks at
this (relatively remote) DebConf
16:35 < tumbleweed> we've had the hardware in place for multiple years now
16:36 < tumbleweed> if the content team can handle the presenter wrangling, I'm
pretty OK with it
Can we come to a conclusion?

(It would probably help if we knew how well staffed we were, to be
able to answer this. Which is another topic we need to discuss...)
FWIW, speaking from my content-team hat/seat, we would perfectly work with
an “OK, but only on room #xxx”, or “not more than twice per day, xx hours
apart minimum”.
