Hi, a slightly annoying misfeature of ARAnyM is that it (or rather, its first instance run) grabs control of the sound card upon startup. This is bad because I either need to always remember to play some music before/during starting ARAnyM or cannot do that for the entirety of its run. (At least I have found neither a command line nor configuration file option to disable use of the soundcard…)
Please add some nosound flag, or a Pause Popup option to free it (close(2) on the /dev/dsp filedescriptor should do the trick).
