I agree with Mario. The only situation in which I would consider it worth all the effort is that which would arise if Debian were to decide not to continue maintaining the text installer. However, I doubt this will happen, because Debian has to be able to be installed on systems that lack a video card. Remote installation is also easier with a text installer, so I think it will continue to be maintained. It already supports BRLTTY. Adding speech support to the text installer would be easier than dealing with all of the Orca-related dependencies as they currently stand.
