Release notes are there to point out new features, not to completely describe them. All accessibility features of the installer are described in the installer manual, http://www.debian.org/releases/testing/installmanual It however doesn't say which images have it. I have just added that information to the development version, that should appear tomorrow in English on http://d-i.debian.org/manual/ “Support for software speech synthesis is available on all installer images whichhave the graphical installer, i.e. all netinst, CD and DVD images, and the netboot gtk variant.” > and it also doesn't say whether this will place you into a GUI or text > environment during and after installation. I've just added a note about it too: “The textual version of the installer will then be automatically selected, and support for software speech synthesis will be automatically installed on the target system.” Whether the installed system will use a GUI depends whether you request it during installation. > I also read about Debian Live and its rescue mode, and thought perhaps it > might be a good substitute for GRML if it has speech support.
