I don't really understand what you are looking for. Sphinx is split into a base library (libsphinxbase1), a higher-level library (libpocketsphinx1), end-user tools (sphinxbase-utils), and the acoustic models (such as pocketsphinx-hmm-en-tidigits). You also have the sphinxtrain application to modify the acoustic models.
