Has this one got a speakup-equipped kernel and if not, do any of the firmware-netinst iso's have a speakup-equipped kernel? The firmware directory structures free and nonfree are confusing to say the least on debian once you get below x86 and x86-64 respectively. Look through that directory structure or through the printers and models directories on openprinting.org and you'll find out just how many models of hardware that got manufactured over the years. HP in particular really put out lots of varied equipment.
