Hi,

Actually the widget doesn't announce itself as a combo box, but it is one. To open the search engines list (and settings), the user can press alt-down arrow key. So you can close the bug if you want, or rename it, so that the search bar widget to be identified as a combo box as well as an editing field, so that the screen reader enable the user to press alt-down arrow key to get the options.

Regards,

Oh nice. I'll be glad to test. What about the release in Jessie? Will
include such improvements? Is that possible?
Jessie should have the last 31.x at the moment it is released. (31.3 is
due in less than two weeks)
