After reinstalling everything, and still having the same trouble, I looked again. I misinterpreted when you wrote /user, you meant something like /run/pi/... So I did find the log, there is a voxin.log in the log folder of speech-dispatcher, and this is the contents of that:
GNU nano 5.4 voxin.log /usr/lib/speech-dispatcher-modules/sd_voxin: error while loading shared libraries: libsndfile.so.1: cannot open shared objec> I don't know what it means though.
