Hi Andrew, This is the Debian accessibility list I posted to isn't it? Thanks.

Please treat others with respect. The last Debian that could routinely boot from a floppy was probably round about Debian 2.x - so more than 20 years ago. There may be other Linux derived things that can still boot from a floppy but I doubt it. tomsrtbt was 2002, for example. Some of your questions *are* debian-user material and only related to accessibility by talking about speech synthesisers. This list has historically overlapped with debian-user, especially for blind and visually impaired users but it is distinct. I can understand frustration and annoyance, especially when things don't work and you might be relying on others to help you fix them but please - show a bit more calm? As I'd write on debian-user - please try and explain *exactly* what you want to do, what you've tried and how it went. The community can't always help with problem solving if the situation is unclear to begin with. All the very best, as ever, Andy Cater ([email protected]) > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "john doe" <[email protected]> > To: <[email protected]> > Sent: Tuesday, July 29, 2025 11:29 PM > Subject: Re: Floppy Image For An External Synth > > > On 7/29/25 20:51, K0LNY ?? wrote: > > I wonder if anyone still has a floppy Debian image that could be used on > > an old computer with a floppy drive [snip] > > > > This is realy a question for the debian-user mailing list. > > -- > John Doe >
