I do; I maintain the mtn backend for DVC http://www.xsteve.at/prg/emacs_dvc/dvc.html Note that I keep my working copy of DVC in monotone (of course), and I don't update the bzr repository often (bzr is a pain!). I could put the monotone version on ada-france if you want access. > Are you aware of [1] and [2] ? Yes, in general, although I have not seen those exact reports > And how do you solve it ? At least a work around ? I disable vc-mtn, and use DVC. To disable vc-mtn, remove Mtn from vc-handled-backends: (setq vc-handled-backends '(CVS)) When vc-mtn first came out, I tried to fix it, but it had lots of problems, and DVC is a much better approach. So I focused on DVC. There was an effort to package DVC for debian; it seems to have stalled. http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=496930#19 Followups for this should go to the DVC or monotone mailing lists: https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/dvc-dev/ http://lists.nongnu.org/mailman/listinfo/monotone-users The monotone list is quite active, but I seem to be the only Emacs user there. I'm not clear who is supposed to be maintaining vc-mtn; discussing that would go on the emacs-devel mailing list http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/emacs-devel -- -- Stephe -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
