Don't worry. I did not misunderstand you, but changing 'QtAda slightly' is the same unpaved path for me as well as the whole toolchain. I only expressed my opinion that gprbuild database should be updated in order for gprbuild to be able to recognize newer compilers. > So my suggestion was to change the file jobs.adb around line 37 and > recompile. Like I said, quite often a small change to the > sources suffices to work around the compiler bug. After more detailed inspection, the problem with qtada-3.1.0 is not manifested only in that 'tasking' example, but it is present in bulding the core. However, I've tried with the 3.2 snapshot and it builds, which means it is only question of time when qtada will be 1st class Debian citizen. :-) Sincerely, Gour p.s. I also tried to download GNAT GPL, but it wanted me to copy crt1.o file around my system which convinced me that the path to traverse is depending on the 'official' Debian packages...I'll try to learn and help. -- Just try to learn the truth by approaching a spiritual master.
