That would be nice, esspecially when different queues were present for 
preinst, postinst, prerm, postrm.

A great benefactor would for example be tex. Every time tex is updated 
it runs initex and other stuff for each one of the many tex
debs. Queueing those to be run after unpacking all packages and after
installing all packages (as they need) would reduce that to one run
for all packages.
