Thanks Greg, I'll give that a try. What I've tried so far is to forget about fd0 (guess I was calling it the wrong thing???). And tried this 'boot hdc:boot/linux root=/dev/hdc/boot/root.bin -t iso9660' Once again I got further than I had before but now I get this error: Kernal Panic no init found: Try passing init = option to kernal
So just as soon as I find out a) which init option I need to pass to the kernal and b) what the syntax to doing that is in MILO (or whatever I end up using trying to install srm now - thanks Falk).
