Hi all, Can't seem to get 3.0.17-2001-11-20 boot disks for Alpha doing a network install. Seems to get up to downloading Release and comes back immediately with "Malformed release file http://http.us.debian.org:80/debian/dists/woody/Release".
On looking at the logs, I see it's trying to run '/usr/sbin/debootstrap --boot-floppies --arch alpha woody /target http://http.us.debian.org:80/debian', which promptly returns with: /usr/sbin/debootstrap: 3: Bad file descriptor Ideas anyone? I'm gonna try and find alternative boot disks... don't know about my luck though :) Box is an AlphaPC 164 500MHz running SRM 5.5-1 -- Alastair Watts Phone: +61-414-558500 Network Systems Consultant Fax: +61-414-558505 PETT Technologies Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Mail: PO Box 17, Rundle Mall, SA 5000 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
