Interesting. However, in xstow's case it looks like the inlines are coming from a C++ template. I have tried different combinations of gcc flags that affect inlining (-fno-inline, -finline-limit=, -fno-default-inline, -fno-implicit-inline-templates, ...) but still no luck.
