I was having kernel oops ( see end of dmesg ) and thought moving to lenny might solve the problem. Well, it didn't . The kernel oops is located in my dmesg below. Also, in lenny only "Linux debian 2.6.22-3-alpha-generic #1 Tue Feb 12 08:53:54 UTC 2008 alpha GNU/Linux" is bootable. Both vmlinuz-2.6.24-1-alpha-generic & vmlinuz-2.6.25-1-alpha-generic fail to boot with error the following error at aboot prompt :
