Just for example (using your sources.list, of course):
# dpkg -l aptitude Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold | Status=Not/Installed/Config-files/Unpacked/Failed-config/Half-installed |/ Err?=(none)/Hold/Reinst-required/X=both-problems (Status,Err: uppercase=bad) ||/ Name Version Description +++-=========================-=========================-================================================================== ii aptitude 0.2.15.8-1.0.0.1.amd64 terminal-based apt frontend
# apt-get source aptitude Reading Package Lists... Done Building Dependency Tree... Done Need to get 2714kB of source archives. Get:1 http://ftp.de.debian.org unstable/main aptitude 0.2.15.8-1 (dsc) [760B] Get:2 http://ftp.de.debian.org unstable/main aptitude 0.2.15.8-1 (tar) [2697kB] Get:3 http://ftp.de.debian.org unstable/main aptitude 0.2.15.8-1 (diff) [16.1kB] Fetched 2714kB in 21s (124kB/s) dpkg-source: extracting aptitude in aptitude-0.2.15.8
As you can see, I've got aptitude version 0.2.15.8-1.0.0.1.amd64 installed, but if I try to get the sources, I get version 0.2.15.8-1.
