Hi folks,
Since the most recent upgrade of apt (0.5.27.2.0.0.1.gcc4) aptitude dies with a core dump immediately.
The apt *.deb files for amd64(gcc-3.4) version 0.5.28.1.0.0.1.gcc4 are corrupted. If I rebuild and install these packages using the sources in the gcc-3.4 archive, then aptitude works. Reinstall of the "official" packages: The core dump is back.
