Here are my suggestions to improve the HOW-TO:
1. Debian From Scratch - add
A custom DFS CD is also supported by the debian package dfsbuild.
2. Is my ATI card supported? - change
Old ATI Radeon cards up to the 9250 model ...I really like the new bootstrapping information. Now I see what I did wrong before. Thanks.
