I'm not able to start Abiword anymore, it wants to find libperl.so, but it seems that perl-base only provides a versioned library: $ ls /usr/lib/libperl.so.5.8* /usr/lib/libperl.so.5.8 /usr/lib/libperl.so.5.8.4
It's the AMD64 gcc-3.4/4.0 archive from Alioth. I'm cc'ing the mailing list.
I had the same problem. Rebuilding abiword from source package helped.
