the problem is mostly resolved by an ugrade to 1.2. The only issue
remaining is
that the new ia32-libs conflicts with (the old but current)
ia32-libs-openoffice.org on libexpat.so.

Thanks for the heads up on this one guys, I was just preparing for a
dist-upgrade to Sid when this all came through, so you saved me a minor
headache :-)
I've just kept 0.7 back for the time being.
