There is a lovely nvidia-kernel-source package in non-free. Use it. nvidia is brain washed by redhat or something and think everyone does things the way redhat does. Debian doesn't. Oh and runing 3rd party installers is a very bad idea. It was a bad idea when Microsoft told people to do it, and it is still a bad idea. > it makes (in lib64) > > /usr/X11R6/lib64/modules/drivers/nvidia_drv.o > /usr/X11R6/lib64/modules/drivers/nvidia_drv.so > > while XF86 use another folder (lib) > > /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/drivers/... > > I have to copy nvidia_drv in /usr/X11R6/lib/...? > Whi XF86 not use /usr/X11R6/lib64... folder? Just remove the mess you made and install the debian packages instead. nvidia-glx and nvidia-kernel-source I even have a howto at: http://www.tinyplanet.ca/~lsorense/debian/ Len Sorensen -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
