Hello. I discovered a quite nasty bug with speedy-cgi-perl on amd64 (and only amd64) in the current stable release.
<http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=326201> This package was compiled during the short period where perl supplied the DynaLoader version 1.05, which was reverted in a later version of the perl package. This unfortunate event led to a version mismatch between speedy-cgi-perl and perl, causing any CGI, which uses speedy-cgi to fail on amd64 (like smokeping for example). The solution is a simple recompile against the final perl package in the stable release fixes the problem, so a binary-nmu for the next point-release of Sarge should be enough. (I am mailing this to debian-amd64 as a heads-up, because the maintainer of said package didn't react in nearly 14 days.) Grüße, Sven.
