Linux  2.6.8-11-amd64-k8 # x86_64 GNU/Linux
Both the processors are detected but one is ignored as said in the boot dmesg.
i think you need smp kernel to support both processors, i.e. something 
like 2.6.8-11-amd64-k8-smp
