IceWM rocks too. Most of the benefits of GUIs such as KDE, without the footprint. Put it this way - I have an old 100MHz Pentium laptop with 16Mb RAM, and it can do IceWM. It's not fast, but it's certainly usable. Put IceWM on a slow machine and it's fast (compared to many GUIs) - put it on a fast machine and it SCREAMS! I run it on my own AMD64 at home...
