Thank you :) This clears the matter a lot. My aptitude shows nvidia-glx version 1.0.8178-1. I thought the deb http://people.debian.org/~rdonald/nvidia unstable/amd64/ deb http://people.debian.org/~rdonald/nvidia unstable/all/ lines in sources.list would be enough for this kind of issues.
