I have an Asus A8N-SLI premium motherboard, with the latest official 1009 bios. Powernow/cpufreq has been working perfectly with a 3700+ single core cpu.
After I've upgraded to an X2 4600+ dualcore cpu, I sse Linux version 2.6.18-mm2 ([EMAIL PROTECTED]) (gcc version 4.1.2 20060920 (prerelease) (Debian 4.1.1-14)) #4 SMP Thu Sep 28 18:53:36 CEST 2006 ... powernow-k8: Found 2 AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 4600+ processors (version 2.00.00) powernow-k8: MP systems not supported by PSB BIOS structure powernow-k8: MP systems not supported by PSB BIOS structure ... which is not a happy message. Before I start testing beta bioses, can anybody tell me if they have any experience with for example the beta 1011-006 or 1302 bios, and if it fixes this problem? I've searched the web, but found only windows-centric solutions. Thanks, Jurriaan -- And you have the right to free speech, as long as you're not dumb enough, to actually try it...
