This is on i386. I have also found a way to reproduce this problem. If I open any directory in Konqueror, I have on the top left the tree, with an 'Audio CD' entry with a 'spinning' icon on it. Shortly after doing this, my pc will hard-lockup. I'm currently rebuilding my kernel with all debugging options enabled to see if I can catch anything.
