Do other java application work well on your system? If so, I suggest to remove maple-supplied java package:
Remove (or backup somewhere) directories /path/maple11/jre.IBM_INTEL_LINUX /path/maple11/jre.X86_64_LINUX and make symlinks /path/maple11/jre.IBM_INTEL_LINUX /path/maple11/jre.X86_64_LINUX both to /usr/lib/j2se/1.4/jre or whatever other JRE installed in your system. Hello List, I am installing the last maple release (Maple 11) on my Lenny box: while everything is fine for the command-line version, I get trouble with the graphic interface: I get a totally white window.
