Package: apache Version: 1.3.29.0.2-4 Severity: normal Followup-For: Bug #239416
Hi, I just put in the `set -x' into the postinst.common script. It fails when calling the invoke-rc.d script. If I do it manually, I get the following error: Starting web server: apache failed invoke-rc.d: initscript apache, action "start" failed. If I invoke the command `/etc/init.d/apache start' manually I get Starting web server: apache failed It seems this has to do with the fact, that Apache is already running. If I stop it first, both commands (invoke-rc.d and /etc/init.d/apache) can start apache just fine.
