  Hi apache debian team,

I can't install apache 1.3.31-1 in debian sid (same problem with last
  version)

  apt-get install apache return :

   dpkg: error processing apache (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
   Errors were encountered while processing:
   apache
   E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

fter reading other bug reports I add set -x in
/usr/share/apache/postinst.common after do_all ...

and apt-get install apache now return :

  ...

  + pkg=apache
  + '[' -e /etc/apache/httpd.conf.dpkg-inst.queue.dpkg-inst.queue ']'
  + mv -f /etc/apache/httpd.conf.dpkg-inst.queue.dpkg-inst.queue
  /etc/apache/httpd.conf.dpkg-inst.queue
  + '[' -e /etc/apache/modules.conf.fake ']'
  + rm -f /etc/apache/modules.conf.fake /etc/apache/modules.conf
  + '[' -e /etc/apache/httpd.conf.dpkg-inst.queue ']'
  + ucf --debconf-ok /etc/apache/httpd.conf.dpkg-inst.queue
  /etc/apache/httpd.conf
  dpkg: error processing apache (--configure):
subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
  Errors were encountered while processing:
  apache
  E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Thats all folks.

No thanks. I am closing these 2 bugs since there are really of no help for
me. Hopefully someone will be able to reproduce them and provide
information.

Thanks a lot anyway.
