Hi. I'd like to contribute to Debian my Apache 1.3 configuration which provides the easiest way to using virtual servers.
The virtual server is created with proper mkdir command. The schema is very simple: /var/www/vhosts/<name>-<port> for document root and /var/log/apache/vhosts/<name>-<port> for log files. There is no VirtualHost sections in httpd.conf. Whole magic is done through mod_rewrite. See http://people.debian.org/~dexter/apacheconf/ and have a good fun. -- .''`.
