There was a length thread about RAM replacement on one of the netwinder mailing lists a while back. The short answer is, yes, you can put in normal laptop memory, but you will only get half the capacity, if you a lucky. This is because the width of the RAM for netwinder should be 32, while everybody else uses 64. That in turn is due to the 21285 companion chip used in the NetWinder.
