Just wanted to tell about a success story in running debian-arm debs on a gpe installed IPAQ 3835.
Wanted xmahjongg (which should exist according to handhelds.org, but couldn't find it), took the one in debian + libstdc++ dependant library, unpacked it with dpkg-deb, got rid of the docs/manpages, found a tileset that looked good shrunk, and BOOM - I've got xmahjong running on the IPAQ without having to recompile it ! Did the same with telnetd from debian arm stable. The fact that GPE uses tiny-X is the piece that makes it all work. This is all very cool stuff.
