how to write a driver with a data transfer in data bus

now i can write a driver under linux(kernel 2..4.20) to control io ports with 
modify its register.
But now i have a i2c controller chip which data lines link with data bus 
connected with static memories such as flash and
sdram. How to program a driver like this kind of device which connected with 
data bus.
What should i do?To write a time sequece of data bus? how to define the 
phy-address of this i2c device?

Really need your help.Any suggestion is welcome.
