Hi,
Old releases
These releases are obsolete and no longer supported. Please use the
latest release.
Debian/NSLU2 Stable 4.0r3
Looks like this problem killed my NSLU and I did a loosy backup, already
trying to reinstall it, before I read about the work arround here. I was
able to bring back the system with an old backup, but most applications
(apache, mysqld), wasn't able to run (guess permission problem or
SELinux). So I decide to make a fresh install with the debian 4.0r3.
However the installation failed twice with the same symptome. The
installer itself works quite fine, but after the reboot the NSLU is just
showing a frequent amber light (status) and a green on ethernet. Nothing
more happens. This was exactly the same that happens on the 5.0b1
system, right after the upgrade. So are you sure that the problem does
not exist on 4.0r3? I just read on a german forum, that somebody else
had this problem too after an upgrade from 4.0r2 on 4.0r3.
Can anyone actually confirm that this problem does not affect the 4.0-serie?
Best regards,
Florian
