Hi,

I installed stretch on my cubox-i4pro with the Debian installer (update from
jessie to stretch) and was happy that I got console output on the HDMI
interface on a standard Debian installation (and wireless after adding the
brcm firmware).

Then dmesg showed that etnaviv is present

rd@kodi:~$ dmesg |grep etnaviv
[ 8.043011] etnaviv gpu-subsystem: bound 134000.gpu (ops gpu_ops [etnaviv])
[ 8.043277] etnaviv gpu-subsystem: bound 130000.gpu (ops gpu_ops [etnaviv])
[ 8.043382] etnaviv gpu-subsystem: bound 2204000.gpu (ops gpu_ops
[etnaviv])

rd@kodi:~$

The I became brave and tried to install X, but here I did not have any luck:

Has anybody any graphical output running on a plain Debian installation? If
not, can anybody tell, what is the missing piece?

Many thanks
Rainer
