Hello everybody, you are welcome to use arbitrary fields in debian/upstream; I chose YAML as the syntax in order to make this easy. However, I would recommend to aim at a simple structure: one field per ID, instead of a mapping (hash) of IDs. As you noted, debian/upstream is not well adapted to source packages where there is more than one upstream source. But even the source package control files have corner cases: when there is more than one usptream for one binary package. I suggest to leave the corner cases aside for the moment. By the way, I hope to start DEP 12 (debian/upstream) this January. Cheers, -- Charles -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
