Thank you again for continuing to help me understand the Debian community
dynamics. I certainly didn't expect an organization as large as Debian to have
an organization tree with a maximum depth of one. Its really amazing.

In my opinion the issues I've identified on the Debian Cloud mailing list can
only be resolved with policies. Specifically I believe I have found both
conflict of interest and architectural decisions that are degrading the user
experience of individuals searching for Debian/Stable. I have written detailed
emails on both of those topics to the cloud list and there has not been any
activity on the list in the past several days since I have done that.

I see a couple possibilities: I am spectacularly wrong and have been a fool. I
don't see that as being more than 25% true (1/4 wrong and 1/4 fool, perhaps
that is 1/2 glorious failure?) but will accept that it is possible it is 100%
true. The other possibility I see are that the Debian cloud community is not
functioning at this moment. It seems that the conflict of interest issues are
impacting the ability to get the community discussion flowing again. I also
believe this is an indicator that the end users of the cloud images are not
represented well.

I again ask for review of the situation - this time not to tell the Debian
cloud list what to do but to evaluate the status and get discussion flowing
again. If I'm a fool lets at least get that published to the list so its well
known to people in the future that may wish to understand the topic.

For reference here are some URLs:

* https://lists.debian.org/debian-cloud/2014/04/msg00067.html On the topic of
conflict of interest and the Debian/Stable user experience
* https://lists.debian.org/debian-cloud/2014/04/msg00068.html On the topic of
architectural decisions and technology integrated into the Debian project
* https://lists.debian.org/debian-cloud/2014/04/msg00057.html Start of thread
asking about community charter and a call to discuss policies

I'm personally at a loss to understand where else this kind of review would
best come from. It seems that the overlap with blends is so strong that this is
the place to go. If I'm wrong (possibly again and 105% fool?) then please point
me to a better place.

Thank you,

Tyler
