For passers-by who read this: Please be advised that Ubuntu is **not** just Debian with a 6-months-cadence, but a copy of the least stable version of Debian made every 6 months with a lot of deliberately added bugs, broken packages, corporate bullshit, and ransom payments raised on security updates that are available freely in Debian. -nik
