I can confirm your bug, my syslog, kern.log and messages files grow very
rapidly with these kernel trace messages. Also the ethetrnet-card is not
recognized during installation of Debian/squeeze, so I had to use a separate
3Com eth-card. My system is a HP Compaq dc7900 Convertible Minitower.
I installed a newer debian kernel 2.6.28 from the trunk path described in
http://wiki.debian.org/DebianKernel
Latest from /dists/trunk (targeted for experimental/sid)
deb http://kernel-archive.buildserver.net/debian-kernel trunk main
After that, the kernel trace messages were gone. Also the eth Intel 82567LM-3
is recognized.
And I do confirm "Debian rocks!" :-)
