Eh. :-) But I *did* run the damn autogen.sh thing before building, dammit. I really dislike these things where one has to do some magic incantation before building instead of just buildign the way one is used to (in my case, by running "cowdebuild"....which actually fails for udpkg). In the case of udpkg, this seems to come from the fact the "configure" is not kept in SVN because of the common mantra that says "Thou Shalt Not Keep Thy Generated Files In Thy VCS". I hate this mantra, by the way.
