This bug requests that kerneloops be included in tasksel, somehow. I don't really see a way that makes sense to do that. If gnome or kde has kernel oops handling stuff, it would make sense to include that in their respective tasks, but there's no point in including kerneloops in other tasks (like web-server say), and not having it included on systems that don't select such tasks.
So I think this bug is really asking that kerneloops be priority standard, and well, it's a daemon, and that's up to its maintainers to drive if they want it to happen. So, I will reassign this bug to kerneloops. -- see shy jo
