Apparently you used clicked through the Windows executable that puts the debian-installer at the root of your C:\ partition. It did its best to minimize its impact, as you can see: all files are in C:\win32-loader. > Created uninstaller: C:\win32-loader\Uninstall.exe > Copy to C:\win32-loader\linux > Copy to C:\win32-loader\initrd.gz > Generating C:\win32-loader\grub.cfg > Extract: C:\win32-loader\cpio.exe > Extract: C:\win32-loader\gzip.exe > Appending preseeding information to C:\win32-loader\initrd.gz > Copy to C:\g2\dr > Copy to C:\g2ldr.mbr The only system-related change was this line: > Registering in NTLDR Which says that the debian-installer image was registered to the Windows bootloader. > How do I resore my C: drive to Windows only? Other people reboot > this machine when they need it and I do not want them to choose > the 'finish installing Debian Linux'! I have hidden what I thought > was a boot CD for Linux; is this enough to prevent further damage? Just run the win32-loader uninstaller; you should be able to find it in Windows' programs list or launch it directly from where it was mentionned to be installed: > Created uninstaller: C:\win32-loader\Uninstall.exe Running this uninstaller will restore your C:\ partition to its pristine state.
