This patch is a very simple one, just changing multipath friendly names from mpath[0-9] to mpath[a-z]. And another change is the change in file path for the bindings file. For inclusion of this patch, it looks clean to me. But I'm not sure if this patch alone can enable multipathing support in the Debian Installer. Cyril and Mathieu have mentioned in this bug report that more work is needed to get it working. I don't think D-I has ever, before, had multipathing support. So if we were to add it, I'd recommend we keep it inline with the standard settings. I just now, again, checked the defaults in multipath, and user_friendly_name is set to off, by default. So, if we are using friendly names in D-I, then we'll have 2 files to take care of, multipath.conf and bindings file. - -- Ritesh Raj Sarraf | http://people.debian.org/~rrs Debian - The Universal Operating System -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iQIzBAEBCgAdFiEEQCVDstmIVAB/Yn02pjpYo/LhdWkFAliLeYUACgkQpjpYo/Lh dWldVA//VUYpDQPixtyl/8Fvp3uoVH0hH5rHCh7fo7HBOEXjrWKH2Sur7gt73e5J Z9KTmFpcGCHEM3InCti25auMfQvPH5T7V71XNdAhR+JUCrGVV7GJVZM5RDsHVYVA lR7bnZeXPsv2W0+Pc+jJBoXh6BpCeKniaqNCDmfqquoiiz33OaapoRQcAKdXZgPH rO2tR5Bma4AuXtfwYGTxcrA2Q0caFTP2eFwO++gvLdT0GYhyy1AgK/DR73cLs4pe Z4J18TNszZbRh7eHa0597cX4erPUXf43G1Ez/jJii/rXXT9PtDPPcpNrenCssWn7 cT2zipMWhMX6vKfDbVB3IAB9fbTQrGuBD3Uyo2B6wqaX+CDiKxNfekAKQuBN3GGQ Wt2gUp3rQm1Xi5kWZJ8fYPQCYQO7arf5dX2Il4JvUMs65QQn405ZZNHmF1iAztA4 cOMBKru6jLGZ3szTBYVi+4dzk13KSWCx2YmCvocmU7hE0bt3i9Zc1l4sqEDbNEbO h8fEhIeMDZKsx69VDw/jY4ze6Mp+85feJ9SamWQeuZfu0KIiKHzzzARwW4jOEtSj wXfi/VyILAJaTIQBjjktSCEHzA3FisYc/LonOytjLsgrLYzT78zqxoBfB23TuJ+a RHHM+n2bVMsg7Ef7k3VMagyeU/Rn50GqZZSZkEKnFOrdHghowc4= =A9Ha -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
