What u-boot do you have installed? Can you get to the u-boot console (probably serial console), and run the following commands: ver run findfdt printenv fdtfile > root@mohot:~# cat /etc/flash-kernel/machine > SolidRun HummingBoard DL/Solo > root@mohot:~# fdtdump /boot/dtb-4.13.0-0.bpo.1-armmp |grep model > model = "SolidRun HummingBoard Solo/DualLite"; > model = "On-board Codec"; > model = "On-board SPDIF"; > root@mohot:~# uname -a > Linux mohot 4.13.0-0.bpo.1-armmp #1 SMP Debian 4.13.4-2~bpo9+1 (2017-10-17) > armv7l GNU/Linux > root@mohot:~# ls -l /boot/dtb-4.13.0-0.bpo.1-armmp > lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 49 Nov 26 15:16 /boot/dtb-4.13.0-0.bpo.1-armmp -> dtbs/ > 4.13.0-0.bpo.1-armmp/imx6dl-hummingboard.dtb What is the output of "ls /boot/dtbs/*/*.dtb" ? > Looks all good for me so far, but another dtb is loaded: > > rd@mohot:~$ grep fdt /var/log/kern.log > Nov 19 16:45:14 mohot kernel: [ 0.000000] OF: fdt: Machine model: SolidRun > Cubox-i Dual/Quad What is the output of "cat /proc/device-tree/model" ? > Can anybody tell, what I am doing wrong? Is that a flash-kernel bug? I doubt it's flash-kernel; more likely you have the wrong u-boot build, or wrong environment variables saved in u-boot. live well, vagrant
