Package: console-setup Version: 1.188 Severity: normal File: /bin/setupcon On changing /etc/console-setup/remap.inc, and when a cached keymap exists, running "setupcon" does not apply the new remap.inc. I hoped it might.
I see setupcon notices its cached keymap should be regenerated when /etc/default/keyboard is newer. Could/should it notice remap.inc newer too, since remap.inc goes into the cache? I struck this when adding to remap.inc and wanting to apply the result. I know "loadkeys" can add to the existing, but I wanted also to replace. -- System Information: Debian Release: buster/sid Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 4.4.0-1-686-pae (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_AU.iso88591, LC_CTYPE=en_AU.iso88591 (charmap=ISO-8859-1), LANGUAGE=en_AU:en_GB:en (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: sysvinit (via /sbin/init) Versions of packages console-setup depends on: ii console-setup-linux 1.188 ii debconf 1.5.69 ii keyboard-configuration 1.188 ii xkb-data 2.23.1-1
