There is the 'prepare 3.62 tasksel version' commit https://salsa.debian.org/installer-team/tasksel/-/commit/72da17106a81d4ce7c2dbbf61ba6c40f3ae82e54 which includes everything for tasksel 3.62 I usually use sbuild in a sid chroot for upload tasks, but I guess that's equivalent to a git-buildpackage call in a reasonable environment ...
